It is well known not only for its height or volume but also for other unique features which do not make it similar to any ordinary aquariums. Huge acrylic glass aquarium succeeded grabbing everyone's attention as it had a built-in elevator which enabled visitors to enter into the tank via a glass elevator that traveled up the center of the aquarium. Here they could witness both the AquaDom and the vast atrium space in a completely different way and experienced sea life discovery tour by two-story ride of elevator.

On 16th December at 5:45 am a disaster appeared. A loud bang and burst of the massive aquarium. It was more like a Tsunami or an explosion of bomb which brought a shock wave around the tourist attraction. Unfortunately, two people had to be taken to the hospital as they were injured from falling shards of glass on them. The worst part, none of the aquatic animals could survive. Some said that if the incident had taken place just few hours later, we would have had to suffer terrible human damage because by then all the customers would have gathered in the hall of hotel including children as daily routine. Above 100 firefighters and the police arrived right after the incident but the reason of explosion is still unknown. Some estimated that severe freezing temperature (-!0 degree Celsius) caused a crack in the glass tank and then exploded.
